WESTMORELAND PEACH OPAL FRUIT SALAD PUNCH BOWL MINT & RARE!!!! Before moving to NC, I lived in upstate NY in the same town as the man who I considered the leading Carnival Glass auctioneer in the country and who has forgotten more about this glass than most of us will ever know. Unfortunately, we moved too soon and there is a lot more that I dont know, than I do. One of the things that I did learn was that color and condition, especially when there is a lack of rarity, are of PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE. When you see one of my listings, you can be sure that you are getting a piece that is exactly as pictured and described.

At last count, I believe that it has been used 13,678,942 times Items that were truly RARE at last count were 112. This Punch Bowl is truly RARE!!!!! One researcher has opined that approximately 6 exist. That estimate may or may not be true, but it has to be darn close, as I can only find records for 3 others. The Peach or Marigold encircles the top 2 inches or so with the heavy, white opalescence exhibiting super fire when held to a light present over most of the rest of the bowl.

I have looked this piece over and over and can attest that it is in virtually MINT condition. With ABSOLUTELY no chips, cracks, fleas, damage or repairs. NONE OF MY PICTURES ARE RETOUCHED YOU SEE EXACTLY WHAT THE CAMERA SEES! Any white spots are reflections and not damage.
