Wedding Gift in 1964: WATERFORD Cut Crystal Punch Bowl w 12 matching crystal punch Cups, used with great pleasure for entertaining and for flowers. The soft abrasion on bottom of Punch Bowland light water mark from flowers on the inside of the bowl may be removed with a light buffing with jewelers rouge. There is a slight dip on the top edge of the bowl, well hidden among the gorgeous scallops that helps secure a ladle's handle, a real must for serving punch.

The 12 matching cups are absolutely pristine, with no cracks or chips or damages of any sort, neither does the bowl have any cracks or chips. This heirloom Waterford crystal set was a fabulous wedding gift. It was sent to us from Manhattan, and I remember the boxes, but of course after all these years, the boxes are a memory. I haven't found a mark the bowl and cups, but Waterford wasn't marking all of their crystal at that time.

We received a Waterford Prestige Heritage Claret Decanter as a wedding gift also; and again, it is not marked. I've been gifted with one of the newly introduced Heritage Claret Decanters and it does bear the mark. Waterford didn't regularly mark their crystal until some time after 1964.

This really is a unique and fabulous opportunity. Not many own a Waterford Crystal Punch Bowl with matching cups.

I consider it a great rarity and so much more appealing that pitchers of punch during special gatherings. If the set doesn't sell, I'll take the bowl into our village jeweler and have him buff the base and watermark later this Spring but then I'll feel obliged to increase the price. My son doesn't want any of my treasures, and his three teen age sons have no interest in them: thus this prolonged endeavor.
