Vintage Large Hand Blown German Silverplate and Green Glass Punch Bowl with Cover. The large round green glass punch bowl is set on a silverplate pedestal base. The tapered base has graduated rings of silver that flare at the base.

The cover has the silverplate ring shape with a raised fruit design featuring grapes and cherries. The finial is in the shape of a putti holding a basket filled with fruit. The cover has an opening for the ladle. The punch bowl is not marked. SIZE: 17 inches high x 11 inches wide.

CONDITION: The inner rim edge of the glass has a chip with a smooth surface. The glass base, which is enclosed by the silver pedestal, has a chip. The metal has some age discoloration, mainly seen on the underside. There are a few tiny glass bubbles. There is reflection in the photos. Beautiful green color -- great piece for entertaining.
