The stand is in very good used condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some water marks on the inside of the stand. I suspect it was exposed to rain water that air dried. I think it can be removed with something like Lime Away. The glass has a slightly purpled hue that is caused by the chemical reaction of the magnesium and UV rays.

Magnesium was phased out around 1915 from glass production. The amount of sun exposure will determine how dark it will become over time. There are air bubbles and straw marks in the glass. Both air bubbles and straw marks are not uncommon in glass produced up to the 1930's.

I have captured some of the straw marks and air bubbles in the photos. The stand is about 8 inches tall, about 6 3/8th inches across the top surface, and about 9 1/2 inches across the bottom surface. This item is very heavy at 5 pounds 1 ounce before packing. This piece will not fit into a a flat rate box.

I have moved to a much smaller house. I'm in the process of downsizing my collecting and inventory from vintage/antique booths that I had in the Midwestern states over the years. As I open a box the contents will be listed. I have not seen some the items of over 10 years. Thank you for looking and check out my other items!
