Rare Vintage Moser Cobalt Blue Cabochon Punch Set. This superb vintage Moser Bohemian Cobalt and Gold Cabochon Punch Set includes a wonderful pumpkin-shaped lidded bowl. The bowl measures 14" high to the top of the stem by 7-1/2" across the midsection of the body.

In addition there are 12 cups, slightly barrel shaped, measuring about 3 high. Their handles are honeycombed along the spines. (As these cups are all hand blown, there is some small variation in the sizes and thickness of the cups).

The "Cabochon" pattern name is very apt, as the cobalt blue panels on these glasses and on the bowl and lid are raised like jewels, with cut corners and little beveled edges trimmed in gold. The clear areas between are hand decorated with tiny leaves and fine gold filigree.

The set is in exceptionally fine vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes or noticeable loss to the hand painted gold décor. I found only a tiny nick off the gold on the edge of the stem top. This heavy and beautiful set will be double-boxed for safe arrival!
