Suberb Antique Regency Anglo Irish Cut Glass Punchbowl-c. 1820`s/30`s
This listing is for a superb large cut glass punch bowl, Anglo-Irish in origin and Regency period in date I believe, probably dating from c. The punchbowl is of a pedestal form, with a large deep round bowl, which is decorated to the body with a hobnail cut pattern, with banding above and a cut castellated rim, bands and a slice cut border to the bottom of the hobnail, a short stem and large tapered foot, star-cut to the base, the clear glass mix has a nice grey colour. It measures just over 7 3/4" high and 8 1/2" across the top. It is in excellent condition, with no damage or restoration.
There is no mark as to maker to this bowl that I can see, it has a ring of old good wear around the edge of the foot. Please feel free to contact me with any queries.
