A RARE Early American Pattern Glass PUNCH BOWL STAND / BASE / HOLDER featuring "Frosted Dolphins". It's in EXCELLENT CONDITION....

With some table wear on the bottom, very light rub wear within area where punch bowl sits, and to the frosted areas. It measures 5 1/2" across the top, with an inside diameter of approximately 4 1/4" x 5 3/8" high x 8 3/8" across the base. The glass is 1/2 THICK and VERY HEFTY, with details galore. There are the usual old mould marks from the glassmaking process, like bubbles, straw marks, swirls/striations, and unique moulding anomalies (slight wave of the top rim); all characteristics inherent to antique glass....
