This Art Deco set was made in the 1930s. The original name is not known; "Top Prize" is Hazel Marie Weatherman's name for the pattern and it features at the top of the carnival display in the color section at the front of her great book "Colored Glassware of the Depression Era 2" The Set comprises of a globular Glass Punch Bowl with chrome metal lid and ladle, Chrome metal disc to hold the Cups and 12 Ruby glass Punch Cups. This fabulous full set with Deco Space age appearance a very Rare find indeed. All the Glass with no cracks or chips, The Chrome Ladle with a split in the bowl and the Cup Disc with expected wear to its surface as pictured.
