This is an antique cut glass Base / Stand for a Punch Bowl- no punch bowl included but I did picture what the bowl looks like with the base from the catalog since its info you might need to compare your bowl. Bottom rim is 7-1/2" wide, top rim is 3-1/2" wide. (The hole that fits your bowl peg is 2-1/8" wide so you are wanting your peg to be 2" wide for stability to fit inside). Pattern name is "Cyrano", and it was cut by the Johnson Carlson company which had its headquarters in Chicago Ill. The catalog pic is above so you can see which bowl goes with this base.
This is for the base only. Top rim the bowl goes into is good for the age- with only the typical micro "contact nips" around the inside of the hole that a bowl peg fits into- the top and outer edge is nice.A few minor flakes/nips hidden in the pattern miters which is also typical and no one sees them. The base is where the teeth are- and it has typical small fleabites on a few teeth from table contact but nothing obvious and no chipped off missing teeth so the bottom edge is actually better than most we see today. This is a great base for a replacement for your bowl.
This is for 2 reasons- We sell antiques / vintage goods, therefore they are used, I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get.
