Elaborate hand painted thick impasto gold enamel on each piece. Lidded serving bowl on raised stem has its original lid which is made to accommodate the punch ladle that goes with it.
The under tray is, like all the other pieces remaining in this set, damage free. There are just 3 stemmed cups for service, however.
These sets are fruit service sets in France, and date from mid-1800s to late-1800s. Oh how we wish there were the 3 other cups that would have originally also graced the tray. Alas, 3 have been lost through the 100+ years since it was made. Still, that opulent dinner for 2 - perfect!Measurements are noted on the photos. Very good to excellent condition, no chips nor cracks and no hairlines at all. The pieces you see included here are all in fine form. We'll pack with great care to make sure it arrives to you in the same fine condition.
