Murano Cased Glass Hand Blown Punch Bowl 12 Cups Bowl Ladle Moretti Mid Century

This listing is for a stunning Hand Blown Italian Murano Cased Red Glass Punch Bowl Set with 12 cups and ladle. Solid white glass on the inside with clear red glass on the outside - handles and bases are also clear red glass.

While there are no markings on the set we believe it to be by Carlo Moretti, but it could be by another artist from Murano. This set comes from the original owners and is in excellent condition with light signs of wear commensurate with use.

The punch bowl is 10" in diameter at the top rim and 5" at the bottom rim with a total height of 9 1/4. All cups are roughly 3" in height with slight variances, and just a little over 3" in diameter at the top rim. The handles are approximately 1 1/4" off the body of the cup and the base diameter is approximately 2". The ladle is 12" long and the serving bowl is just under 3" in diameter not including the pouring spout. Being hand blown, there are slight variances within the glass size, markings, etc.

On the Bowl we notice 2 spots where the piece was held during the creation process. One cup we noticed a very light scratch that also happened during the making of it. There are very light imperfections as to be expected from hand blown pieces, but nothing terribly objectionable. Really only mentioned for complete accuracy.
