MCM Pitman-Dreitzer Crystal Punch Bowl Set 10 Cups Ornate Metal Stand Ladle Rare

Rare vintage Pitman-Dreitzer Division of Lancaster Colony Corporation # 11. This is a beautiful and relatively rare Mid-Century Modern crystal punch bowl set, consisting of a beautiful large clear crystal bowl, an acrylic ladle with a metal handle, ten matching cups with plastic hooks, and an elaborate metal punch bowl base. The glass bowl measures 13 ¼" diameter x 6½" tall and holds approximately 40 cups, weighing 9#. The ladle measures 12½" long and the baroque metal base measures 9¾" x 3.

The set is in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks; however, the ladle shows definite signs of its age and use as do all these similar ladles I have observed including the color of the metal handle tip which appears a gold-ish color it could possibly be polished? All-in-all, this punch bowl set would make an elegant addition to your holiday, wedding or any celebratory table. I can visualize serving a colorful or foamy punch from it and wowing your guests!
