Superb piece of Crystal in good condition, new to the market after being passed down through a family for generations. The Family are of English decent but had lived in Ireland, it was thought the the punch bowl was acquired in Ireland in the early 1800, s. The owners family had always referred to it as the Waterford punch bowl. I have looked very carefully all over the bowl and Im unable to find any mark. Having said that there is considerable ware to the foot of the bowl which may account for there being no mark.
The bowl has a clear ring when tapped. There are applied rings on the steam with lens cuts above followed by large hobnail cuts and then smaller hobnail cuts with a fluted cut rim.
23cm High, 30cm wide, 3.636kg. As previously stated , there is ware to the base, and also a small chip on the base (photoed) I can find no other fault and I have been over this with a magnifying glass. This is an impressive piece. Please see photos for condition. SAME DAY DISPATCH (Mon-Sat, Before 4.30pm GMT).4,300+++ UK & International orders, we are professionals. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
