L E Smith Glass Company 26 Piece Punch Bowl Set. Pinwhell and Stars Pattern aka Slewed Horsheshoe. 21 1/2" Tray 13 1/4" Cupped Bowl 23 2 3/8 Straight Star Base Cups 1 Glass Ladle in Special Wooden Crate. No stains or use marks, glass is brilliant and clear In speciual wooden crate made for this set.

Dimensions: Tray: 21 1/2" Diameter 2" Height Bowl: 13 1/4" Maximum Diameter 11" Top Diameter 8 1/2" Height 23 Straight Star Base Cups: 3" Diameter 3 3/4" Width 2 3/8" Height Glass Ladle included is not original. It is difficult to determine the age of this design. Although we did not find any marks, this pattern does not appear to have been attribited to any other factory.

The L E Smith Glass Company was in business in Western Pennsylvania from 1907 until 2011 with some changes of ownership and short lapses in production. It is mentioned to have been making punch bowls from the 1940s. We are unable to determine when this set was made.
