Up for sale is a stunning Heisey Plantation pattern punchbowl with underplate and seven punch cups. This line was discontinued in 1956 and is one of the most popular patterns Heisey has. The punchbowl is probably one of the most desired pieces in this pattern. Underplate measures 19 in diameter and the Punch Bowl is 8 ½ tall by 13 ½ diameter at the top with seven 3 tall by 3 diameter cups.
All are marked with a'H' on the bottoms. The glass is crystal clear with no foggyness.
It is in excellent, and I mean excellent shape for its age. There are light marks on the underside bottom of the punchbowl and another mark on the very center of the underplate which is not noticeable when the bowl is on top. The cups are in pristine condition. The interior of the bowl is also pristine, I don't think it was ever used, it appears to have maybe sat in a China cabinet for years.
I'd give it a 9 out of 10. I will pack each piece in lots of bubble wrap with the bowl and cups stuffed with paper and will have it suspended in peanuts in order to ensure it will be protected from damage. Like I said, it will also be insured. The item "Heisey Plantation Pattern Glass Punchbowl with Underplate and Seven Cups" is in sale since Sunday, July 03, 2016.
