Heisey #394 Doctor Johnson's Punch Bowl

I was told by 2 Heisey experts that this is a #394 Narrow Rib Dr. Johnson's punch bowl and that it was designed to serve Dr. Johnson's punch which is served hot and that is why it is so thick and heavy.

There is a notch cut into the rim to accommodate the ladle and this must have been done by a professional. It is marked with the "diamond H" as pictured.
