Around the design, angular cuts highlight sections of diamonds and smaller grid-like patterns. The base has a solid foot with a hobstar in the center allowing it to fit firmly in the base. The detachable base mimics the pattern with a wider bottom which tapers to the top.
The bottom and rim of the bowl are scalloped with a sawtooth pattern adding an addition level of elegance to the bowl. The ladle is simple and clear with a gentle curve allowing it to extend out of the bowl. The spoon section has a large round bowl with a small spout for controlling the flow of liquid. This piece is the combined effort of two glass making companies in the early 1900's.
