Early & Substantial Hawkes 15 1/4 x 12 Coronet Pattern Punchbowl with Apology

A fantastic example of an early Hawkes Coronet pattern on a 15 punchbowl and is pictured in the 2003 ACGA Hawkes re-print catalog (see pictures). This may have been a special order since it has the fancier base (catalog page 62). Overall diameter of bowl is 15 1/4" and height (including base) is 12".

This punchbowl weighs over 30 lb and is made from the highest quality glass blank. He glass is almost 1 thick (see picture) and I believe it to be wood wheel polished. Cutting is deep and precise. The apology is a crack running through the bowl and a minor chip on the underside of the base.

High quality windshield repair adhesive to. I believe the chip, on the base, could be repaired. I have had this piece on display, for some time, and I can assure you the crack is indiscernible unless you search for it or someone shows it to you...

Weight is 30 + lbs. Exceptional display piece and substantial light refracting properties. Nicer than my amateur photography shows! If you have any questions or need additional pictures; please ask and I'll try to take and/ or answer if I can.

Side note: This punchbowl would be very expensive without damage. I want your item to arrive in the same condition as it left. There are several hundred pieces still to go; so it will take some time.
