Duncan & Miller EAPG Button Panel Punch Bowl. Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) was developed to emulate the much more expensive and leaded American Brilliant cut glass of the early 20th century.
Many of the motifs, such as buttons, sawtooth, and hobstars, are found in both styles of glass. Duncan and Miller began making glass in the 1800s. They introduced this pattern - button panel - in 1900.
They touted their wares as "the most beautiful glass in America, " and this stunning bowl certainly meets that standard. The bowl measures approximately 15 inches across and 6.5 inches deep. There are 17 cups; two have chips (please see photos).
Please be aware that this is 100-year-old pressed glass so there will be imperfections such as bubbles, ripples and seams. Feel free to message with any questions.
