Vintage Federal Glass silver band punch bowl set from the 1960s. This complete set includes 12 matching roly-poly punch glasses, a large silver-band punch bowl, and a period-correct chrome ladle stamped USA. This is the classic mid-century silver band design, often associated with and in the style of Dorothy Thorpe, whose work popularized this look during the 1950s-60s. This set is attributed to Federal Glass, not hand-signed Dorothy Thorpe. The glass is thick and well-made, with bright silver/chrome bands and the rounded roly-poly form that made these sets a centerpiece of mid-century holiday entertaining.
