Was a time at the beginning of this century when every culinary endeavor had its own paraphernalia. Grape juice was served from a large conical footed bowl, often of cut glass, of which this is one such.
Of course, this lovely bowl could also be used to serve other beverages, as a punch bowl, as a centerpiece, or simply on display on a mantle or bookshelf. The bowl is rather grand, at approx. 12" across, and 9" high, and almost 8lbs. It features a unique etched design of floral and vines, and a beaded line around the rim. I'm unaware of the maker on this piece, but it is a charming reflection of a bygone age and would make a wonderful addition to any decorating scheme.Very nice antique condition, no chips, please see photos. Every effort is made to disclose condition via photos, please see images and request any additional images you may need. Vintage and Antique items are old and used so they may show wear and/or manufacturers imperfections. Colors may appear slightly different due to the nature of color variation from monitor to monitor.
Any white spots on image are reflections from camera flash. I will reflect any damages, repairs, obvious stress marks, crazing or heavy wear in the item description but some minor scratches, nicks, stains and gilt disintegration can be normal for vintage items and need to be taken into account.
