Carnival Glass Marigold Punch Bowl With 12 Cups. The Imperial mark of an I with G overlapping, is seen in the center interior of the bowl and center interior of each cup. IF it was a reproduction, the IG would be found in the side incorporated with the design. Carnival glass is pressed glass with mineral or metallic salts added during the manufacturing process to create the iridescent rainbow of colors it comes in. Carnival glass gets its name from the fact that it was a common prize at carnivals from around 1907 to 1925.

Carnival glass became popular again in the 1960s and 1970s and was still produced through the 2000s in lower quantities. Excellent condition and a beautiful, stunning addition to any home or special event or both!
