Antique Westmoreland Block Punch Bowl & Base By Gillinder & Sons circa 1889
Gorgeous Gillinder & Sons pressed glass punch bowl and base. Gillinder & Sons produced superior Early American Pressed Glass pieces between 1825 and 1910. My research shows that this pattern - WESTMORELAND BLOCK was first produced in 1889. It is in excellent condition, with only a small chip at the edge of one of the scallops on the base. No effort has been made to repair it. It measures : Base - 20 1/4 in diameter. Bowl - 13 3/4 in diameter. Together - 7 3/4 tall. The set weighs over 23 lbs.
