They are two separate pieces. There are some minor nicks and small chips present (two on the upper rim, three on the base), but overall, the pair is in very good condition.

When assembled, it measures 10 3/4" tall and 9 3/4" across. The last five photos show the chips I detected. As you can see, they are very small, basically trivial. As a long time collector of ABCG, I would rate the condition as a 9/10. Minor chips are common with this type of glass, and this (in my opinion) is about as nice as you are likely to find. The piece is 130 years old, and has an especially ornate pattern, though I do not know the maker.
