Beautiful well preserved10" bowl, opening 8", 2 piece, overall height 9.5. Cut from a clear white blank both the bowl and base are heavier than the average punch bowl due the the thickness of the glass to allow for the deepest of the cuts in this pattern. It features scalloped edge where every other has a fan design that ties in with the base, hobstars surrounded by ribbons of hatching in a delicate flowing design around the bowl. The center of the bottom has a starburst. The footing of the base is also scalloped with delicate fans on each scallopI inspected the bowl in good faith and the above were my findings.
It's in good condition. I've had it for 15 years a table center piece. When lit it sparkles like diamonds. It does have a few rough edges on the upper scallops and age appropriate wear in the interior bottom of the bowl. It also shows some wear around the starburst at the bottom of the bowl. Please refer to the pictures as they are part of the description. I've described the item in good faith based on my inspection of the item. It's a beautiful bowl authenticated by putting it under a black light. The bowl turned green confirming the authenticity dating between 1885 and I910. I've enjoyed for years but its time to downsize. In this market pricing is very subjective. If you watch expecting price to go down it is not.
