ABP Cut Glass Parsche 2-Piece Punch Bowl 12 × 11 Propeller Marshall Field

This is a large, heavy, two-piece American Brilliant Period punch bowl was cut around 1907 by F. The bowl measures 12 inches wide, 11 inches tall, and weighs an impressive 15 lbs 11 oz. It is a premium blank. Collectors refer to this pattern as "Propeller" due to the distinctive split vesica motifs placed between the large hobstars. Each vesica is split down the center and filled with deep crosshatch, creating a blade-like shape that repeats around the circumference. Three rows of decorated cane (alternating crosshatch cane and star cane). 24-point hobstars with Brunswick centers. Split vesica motifs with crosshatch fill (the "propeller blades"). Lower band of undecorated cane. Parsche & Sons was one of Chicago's premier cutting shops, known for heavy blanks, deep miters, and large-scale geometric patterns. The bowl and pedestal are in excellent antique condition for ABP glass of this age.

There are no cracks, though a few minor nicks in the intricate pattern are to be expected. This bowl has been well cared for, and a few of the rim scallops have been smoothed over in its 120-year history.
