Vintage Heisey Pressed Glass Whirlpool 5 Quart Punch Bowl 10 Cup & Ladle Set. The price is for a beautiful pressed glass punch bowl set made by Heisey in the Whirlpool pattern. The set includes a round punch bowl, 10 punch cups and a glass ladle. The Whirlpool pattern, produced between 1938 and 1957 features three rows of circles growing larger as they near the scalloped rim of the punch bowl.
The handles on the beautiful cups are closed. This punch bowl is made of 1/2 inch thick pressed glass. The punch bowl and cups are all embossed with the Heisey mark, H in the diamond, the ladle is not marked. I took photographs with and without the flash trying to capture the beautiful pattern and condition for your careful consideration. Please refer to the photographs.
The measurements of this vintage Heisey Glass Whirlpool punch bowl are: 5 quart capacity: 6 1/8 inch rim height: 11 1/8 inch top diameter: weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces. The measurements of the 10 matching punch cups are: 5 ounce capacity: 2 1/8 inch rim height: 3 inch rim diameter: each weighs 4.4 ounces. The glass ladle is double spouted with a ribbed handle (absolutely beautiful) and has a 12 3/4 inch length. The ladle weighs around 9 ounces. This sparkling Heisey pressed Glass Whirlpool punch bowl, 10 punch cups and glass ladle set is in good vintage used condition: no chips: no cracks: one cup has some black spots near the rim that may be removable with the right knowledge: due to older glass techniques the rims of the cups have some nearly undetectable rim lines/ marks and there are a few manufactures lines in the glass on the bowl's bottom: inside of punch bowl has usage scratches featured in the last photograph.
