STUNNING VRY LARGE c1900 RUSSIAN SOLID SILVER & CUT GLASS CENTERPIECE PUNCH BOWL. Hello, thank you for having a look at my auctions. Although I was a little down and out over the summer I still managed to acquire some incredible and important treasures for my first sales of the fall season.
Listed this week is many Rare and Beautiful examples of Georgian, Victorian and Art Deco Sterling Silver, numerous Sterling Flatware Sets, fine Silver Plate and Solid Silver pieces from all over the world! The Bowl finely Hand Made Handles in a very unique Russian style.
The Rim of the Bowl is classic Victorian with finely detailed Leaf and Berry designs. The Cut Glass designs are quite exquisite being deeply cut on a thick colorless blank, much more complex and more impressive than my photos show. The Bowl is a very large and impressive example measuring 13-1/2 inches wide across the handles or 7-1/2 inches wide across the top rim with the body slightly flaring out towards the base.
