Waterford Crystal Punch Bowl in an unnamed pattern. The Waterford lead crystal bowl is absolutely stunning.
I couldn't find out the pattern... But with the variety of techniques used in the creation, I suspect that this may be a limited edition piece. There is 56/250 acid etched into the base... Inferring that this was number 56 of only 250 made. The Waterford punch bowl is pre-owned...Fine crystal can be easily damaged by just one little slip of the hand. When an event calls for a punch bowl... Not everyone is as careful as they should be, and even the most elegant sterling punch ladle can cause irreparable harm if it is clunked against the side of the bowl accidentally.
The condition of this listing is excellent. There are absolutely no chips or cracks... Not even the tiniest fleabite was found on any part of the bowl.
The punch bowl measures 8 3/4 inches tall and 11 inches wide. There's plenty of sellers that just don't care. Please view the pictures carefully. So if you see any marks or colors that look like damage...It is the sun, the clouds, or me. When damage (no matter how minute) I try to make sure that it is clearly depicted in the photos.
Also, while I thoroughly wash and hand-polish every piece of sterling that I sell, I do not have the time or the inclination to get out a toothbrush and clean every little nook and cranny of the more intricate designs unless build-up or tarnish is excessive. My word is my bond.
I know that there are silver lovers out there that wish to harken back to the days of genteel dining and gracious living. Besides, I have come to genuinely appreciate anything that is older than me and still survives.
